Short lived series that had a marvellous premise

It is often said that within each of us there is another kind of person person trying to get out. François is a telephone pollster with little understanding of who he is. The day he meets the girl of he dreams he starts receiving help from those pesky inner selves. He is confronted with his inner woman, the animal within himself, his inner child, the artist within himself, his latent homosexuality, etc, Each of the aspects of himself are played by a different actor. The various ways that the writer-director deals with the presentation of those aspects of François bring out the humour of the series. With each new episode the series deals with the layers of self-doubt that are part of every relationship.

"François" was cut short at twelve episodes, which may have been a blessing. It is doubtful that the premise could have been sustained through a full two seasons. What is there, however plays very well.
