If you're the type of movie-goer who likes Hollywood-esquire horror flicks, then you'll probably be bored with this movie, as other reviewers have commented. The setting for the film is both beautiful and condusive to the "chilling" plot. It references advanced scientific technologies, namely cryogenics and nanotechnology, which makes it far less far-fetched than other flicks in this genre. Dean Stapleton really does have a Jack Nicholson-like quality about him, and I thought he was perfectly cast for his role. In man's quest for eternal life on earth, it gave an interesting viewpoint of the human qualities that deteriorate even though the flesh lives on. The end did have a nice, unexpected twist. I will definitely watch more movies by Philip Chidel. I rented it this weekend, and watched it twice!
