COKED UP Britain

Warning: Spoilers
This is a worthless and offensive piece of "entertainment". Badly written, badly acted but most importantly ill-informed.

The 12 Step model of addiction (whatever that is) is seriously flawed as are the weird scenarios in this mock documentary. Please go to a meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous and pick up a copy of "THE BIG BOOK". This tome contains the ramblings of desperate group of evangelical Christians who devised a plan for "sobriety" based on "spirituality". No medical evidence or statistics exist to qualify anyone as an "expert" fit to advise on the making of this movie or any other piece of thrash. I've been around people indulging dangerous and potentially fatal habits all my life. The only effective thing to do is detoxify and abstain, statistically the chances of doing so alone are not great. Doing so within a 12 step program are worse! Next time it might make this filmmaker a little more credible if he took a cold hard non-fictional look at COCAINE ANONYMOUS or any other group of "experts" before whole-heartedly embracing their doctrines. If you want to fill people with fear bully for you! Please see "REEFER MADNESS".
