The original release date was set to be in 2006. It was then pushed back to February 2007, then August 2007, then January 2008 and after the final cut was screened at San Diego Comic Con in July 2008, it was announced it was supposed to be released in September 2008. Then it was once again pushed back to November 2008 until it was finally (and very limitedly) released in February 2009.
