The goodly ones at Quiet Earth have found the first trailer for Miss Nobody, a black comedy that seems to be be relocating the Heathers or Jawbreaker type of murder mirth to a corporate setting. Think 9 to 5 or Office Space with bodies hidden behind the filing cabinet. The film is directed by Tim Cox, previously neither famous or even famous for his monster movies like Larva or Mammoth (if Miss Nobody flies, even a little bit, perhaps he can adopt it as his de facto debut) and stars Leslie Bibb, Missi Pyle, Patrick Fischler, Brandon Routh, Kathy Baker and Vivica A. Fox. See the trailer embedded after this break.
You will also spot Eddie Jemison in the trailer here. He was in the Ocean's 11, 12 and 13 series, as well as playing Nameless Numberhead Man in Steven Soderbergh's fantastic Schizopolis, for which I will always love him. I

A mild-mannered secretary discovers that she has a talent for murder as she ascends the corporate ladder. In "Miss Nobody", Leslie Bibb stars as Sarah Jane McKinney whose life seems to be ordinary on the outside layer but much more complicated underneath.
Although labeled as an indie movie, the film has lined-up several familiar faces such as Brandon Routh, Adam Godlberg, Kathy Baker, and Vivica A. Fox. The pic is directed by Tim Cox who previously directed music videos and several TV movies such as "Alien Lockdown" and "Mammoth". The screenplay meanwhile, uses the talent of newcomer Dough Steinberg who wrote for a number of TV series episodes.
The production had been kicked off in the fourth quarter of 2007 but the movie has not been screened at any festivals nor it has a distributor. The released trailer, however, cited "In Theaters 2008" which probably was not further edited from the initial plan.

Here's a weird one for ya. Coming from director Tim Cox, who has regaled us for years with schlocky Scifi creature features with names like Gryphon, Mammoth, and Larva, comes a dark comedy called Miss Nobody. I actually read about the film a year ago and then nadda. That is, until we found ourselves in possession of the film's first trailer. This is pretty cool considering there isn't even a single piece of promotional art out there yet.
Synopsis:
A mild-mannered secretary discovers that she has a talent for murder as she ascends the corporate ladder.
Miss Nobody has a great cast. It stars Leslie Bibb, Adam Goldberg, Brandon Routh, and Vivica A. Fox.

We write about a lot of actors, directors and even producers on CinemaSpy, but it takes many more talents to make a successful (or unsuccessful, for that matter) film and television show. It is with pleasure, then, that we present a news story about a member of the filmmaking profession with a specialism that rarely makes the headlines: composing. Congratulations to composer John Dickson! For the second successive year he has received the Ascap award for Top Television series for his work on one of our favourite shows, the USA Network hit Burn Notice.
Ascap - the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers - represents over 8.5 million copyrighted musical works from more than 350,000 songwriters, composers and music publishers. The Top Television Series Award is presented to an Ascap composer who has written themes and underscores for a high rated TV series in the previous year. John Dickson is no stranger to the award,
