Breathtaking
janeforyou20 January 2009
It starts on a ship bound to a small almost deserted island.

The two leading actors, two young boys discover an almost abandoned warehouse.

It's getting dark and from then on their imagination is running wild.

It's breathtaking as the film is sometimes moving very fast backwards and sometimes forward.

That's the speed of light 'zoomed in'.

There was a lot of fun when it came out about a rape scene. I'm not sure why.

The real or imaginary people living there, a gangster and his girlfriend are rolling around on the floor.

She is not very happy about it but they are still going out together. It's hardly criminal.

Stuart Mansell is one the finest actors of his generation

Rarely have I seen such a gifted actor.

Stuart Mansell is so deeply absorbed into his character that we might believe that he is like that in real life.

When he played a TV game show host in "The Complete Map of the Universe" and the TV show "EST" we can see that he is a completely different person.

Different voice, accent, look.

Everything is different.

Most actors are just playing "themselves", Stuart Mansell is not.

He is also extremely sexy and that helps.

I have never seen someone who can play such a drug crazy character the way he does.

From completely demented to desperate.

Stuart Mansell is one of the finest actors of his generation.

It deals with light reflected through our subconscious.

I'm not exactly sure what it was all about.

It's different from most films and the actors are so great.

The concept is amazing. It deals with light reflected through our subconscious.

What we see may not be what is actually happening. A lot of things are happening during an entire night.

There is a demented guy that has lived on a deserted island for too long. He lives in a warehouse.

He meets two young teens and held them at gun point. The story is sort of clear but I'm not sure I can say what it is.

Can anyone explain it to me?

I love the film because of the acting, the music and the settings. I have to say that the scene on the floor is really hot!
