Trivia:
The croc's lair was constructed and shot in a warehouse in Maidstone (Melbourne Victoria Australia) which was the same site for much of internal barn shots in Charlottes Web (2006). With story set in the rugged Northern Territory and much of the shooting done there also many would be surprised to learn that many of the "island" shots were done in a man made lake in country Victoria. The art department and the greens department being responsible for making the rocks and trees resemble those in the Territory.

Goofs:
Continuity: The tour boat is initially drawn to the crocodile's territory by the distress flares of another boat in trouble. It can be assumed that one or more persons died in this attack, though no bodies are seen. However, in the article shown in the closing shot of the film, only four deaths are listed - those of the characters followed by the action of the film.

Usually my first instinct upon hearing that a movie was made in Australia, by Australians, is to completely dismiss it. I am glad I did not do so with Rogue. The building of suspense was surprisingly good. The action was amazing and the silver lining for all of this was the amazing dialogue (apart from the littered swear words). It was also well acted, and the accents weren't even annoying. A total bonus was the awesome special effects. I will truly never go to the Northern Trerritory, thanks Mr. McClean! For anyone tired of the dull, lifeless Aussie movies that unfortunately we are all used to, go and take a chance by seeing Rogue...even if only to support it. I can only hope they don't go down the well-worn road of making lack-lustre sequels...there is no need to spoil a great movie. Great work to all that were involved with making this movie. 10 out of 10 all round.
