Excellent Short Film
mattkivel10 January 2006
The film was subtle in its oblique portrayal of contemporary American life. This is the type of movie that lingers in the viewer's mind after returning from a night at the theatre. There is a modern-quirkiness to this film that makes it endearing to viewers. Barry Kivel's performance is nothing short of legendary. He expertly crafts an air of restrained angst surrounding the enigmatic leading role. His performance is unsympathetic, and emotionally confronting. Nathan Marshall has shown great promise as a film maker with his debut, and the major production houses should take notice. It was a pleasure to watch. This is a memorable little picture.
