Russell Brand to Move In With Katy Perry

20 December 2009 11:41 PM, PST | Celebrity Mania | See recent Celebrity Mania news »

Russell Brand fueled a rumor that he plans to take his relationship with singer girlfriend Katy Perry to the next level. Daily Star claimed that the British comedian is about to live together with the "I Kissed a Girl" hitmaker since he has bought a mansion in The Summit estate for them.

The "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" actor purchased the Los Angeles gated pad for $3.5 million. The house itself is located in the same neighborhood Britney Spears once lived for 18 months, and boasts seven bedrooms.

Rumor that Russell is heading to a more serious relationship with Katy first emerged in early November. At that time, he was reported to leave his native Britain to move in with her in America after he put his Hampstead home, which spreads out over 2,000 square feet, in market.

Adding to the rumor, Russell was seen shopping for a diamond ring on December 12. News of the »

Mark Palansky Tackles Iron Jack

14 October 2009 12:18 AM, PDT | EmpireOnline | See recent EmpireOnline news »

Mark Palansky, director of the light 'n' fluffy Penelope, is set to take a rather different tack with his next film, signing up for an action-adventure called Iron Jack that, to the best of our knowledge, contains not a single pig-faced girl.Instead, this will focus on a succesful novelist in the 1930s who goes on a quest for a legendary treasure. We know, we know: you're all thinking that this sounds suspiciously Indiana Jones, but it's clearly a novelist not an archaeologist so it'll be totally different.Up-and-coming screenwriter Johnny Rosenthal wrote the script, which started something of a bidding war, so let's hope that this lives up to that hype.  »

The Oscars Brought Laughter, Tears, and Lots of Singing

23 February 2009 5:00 AM, PST | Popsugar.com | See recent Popsugar news »

Last night, the Oscars provided an exciting finale to another awesome award season. We were treated to a new format that kicked off with Hugh Jackman showing off his singing and dancing skills before having fun and joking with the big names of the night. Later on he was joined by Beyonce, Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens and Amanda Seyfried for a fun medley honoring musicals. Jennifer Aniston looked gorgeous onstage and happy sitting next to John, although we were so hoping to see her on the red carpet. Among the big surprises of the night were the presenters - we were treated to sightings of some of our favorites from Reese to Will, with a special shout-out to Ben Stiller for cracking us up with his Joaquin Phoenix impersonation. There weren't many upsets last night and the winners - click here to see them all - could not have been »
