Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this new feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes .
Visit our Parents Guide Help to learn more

Sex & Nudity

No nudity. Some kisses between Patrick Gates and Emily Appleton, between Ben Gates and Abigail Chase, and between Abigail Chase and the White House aide (Connor).

Violence & Gore

Some fisticuffs, but nothing too prolonged or intense. Some minor bleeding of the characters, but nothing significant. A semi-intense Car Chase scene. You don't see anyone get killed and there are no mentions of anyone dying, but from the looks of the scene someone was probably killed. It is implied that a character is killed. (See Frightening/Intense Scenes below) There is also a brief scene where one character pulls a knife on the other, but no one is harmed.

Profanity

there is no swearing or any bad language

Nicolas Cage pretends to be drunk in one scene, and applies drinking alcohol on his tongue, and on his neck. There is a party scene (Presidential birthday party) where alcohol is being served, but is very subtle.

Some younger kids may not get the plot.

Some of the car chase scenes may be too intense for young children, and there are some scenes with skeletal remains that may frighten young children.

There are some intense scenes where main characters are in mortal danger.

it is insinuated that a main character dies but you do not actually see the death.
