• Continuity: When getting dressed the morning after the bug draining the blood from his body we see Dr. Marshall putting on just a shirt. When he starts to strip down for his 'dance' number across the pterodactyl nesting grounds he suddenly has an undershirt on.
  
  
• Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When Will says that the banjo he is playing has 4 strings, you can obviously see that the banjo is a 5 string banjo.
  
  
• Continuity: The bridge in front of the cave disappears and reappears when the T. Rex chases the people into the cave.
  
  

• Revealing mistakes: When Holly brings the fossil of the lighter imprint to Rick, the imprint shows "BIG CAT" in reverse with the hinge nearest to the 'G' and 'T'. However, when the T-Rex steps on it compressing it, the letters are face up and the hinge on the opposite side of the lighter. If the negative was flipped the hinge would still be nearest the 'G' and 'T', but now it is nearer to the 'B' and 'C'.
  
  
• Continuity: Toward the end when the group confronts Enik, Will takes off his necklace and hands it to Holly. Will and Holly do not come into contact or close proximity after this point. Thus, Holly would not have been able to give back the necklace to Will. However, when Will and Cha-Ka arrive at the village, Will is wearing the same necklace - seen clearly when the women surround Will and faun over him.
  
  
• Continuity: When Holly finds Rick on the floor after his all night food binge, you can see Rick is sleeping on his back (the position of his feet indicate that). However, when Holly rushes in to his assistance, Rick is now on his side (the position of his feet changes) and wakes up.
