The littlest cast member of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, Jodelle Ferland, is no newcomer to the film world.
You might remember her as "Jeliza-Rose" in Tideland and "Sharon" in Silent Hill. Of course, she's been in quite a few other pictures over the years as well, including Good Luck Chuck, The Messengers (with Kristen Stewart), and Seed.
One of her films, Wonderful World with Matthew Broderick and Sanaa Lathan, opens in theaters on January 8th, according to MTV, and a clip of Jodelle Ferland's performance a

Kristen Stewart's 'Welcome To The Rileys' Role Is Only The Latest Fictional Stripper In Hollywood

With pictures of Kristen Stewart as a stripper in the upcoming Sundance player "Welcome to the Rileys" hitting the Internet last week, we decided to take a look back at five Hollywood actresses who starred as a stripper in the past, and how the decision impacted their careers. Some were launched into success stories, while others took a sharp downward turn. Hopefully, Stewart will take some pointers from those who came before her and avoid squashing the success "The Twilight Saga" has given her. If that's even possible.
One unusual fact that's worth noting: three of the five names on this list -- Demi Moore, Lindsay Lohan and Heather Graham -- all followed up their stripper appearances with roles in the Emilio Estevez-directed film, "Bobby." It's hard to say what that means, though three counts as a trend. Apparently, fake stripping drives female actors to Emilio Estevez. Go figure.

The Return of Jessica Alba?

Sure, some would suggest that Jessica Alba really can't return to form since there never was a form to begin with. But there definitely was a time when Alba was an "It" girl -- the type to grace numerous magazine covers and star in big, flashy films like Sin City and The Fantastic Four. But then her star began to fade as she clumsily starred in one cruddy flick after another (Into the Blue, Good Luck Chuck, The Eye, Awake, The Love Guru), and with other, more sensational young actresses attempting to make their mark in Hollywood, Alba sort of fell by the wayside.
But now the gal has positioned herself with a few pretty interesting upcoming projects, including two produced by Robert Rodriguez (Machete, The Insiders), one that's based on a very good novel (An Invisible Sign of My Own) and one that finds the actress taking things farther

Jessica Alba has revealed that she cooked a Thanksgiving meal for her whole family. The Good Luck Chuck star, who has a 17-month-old daughter Honor Marie with husband Cash Warren, said that her mother "laid" the kitchen duties on her this year. Alba and Rodriguez re-team for new comic film

Jessica Alba is to re-unite with Robert Rodriguez in a film based on a series of Belgian graphic novels. Whilst the pair first teamed on the cinematic adaptation of Frank Miller’s Sin City, they are now to respectively star in and produce a big screen version of The Insiders. The director’s chair will, somewhat excitingly, go to Mabrouk el Mechri whose last film, the post modern action flick Jcvd, somehow made Jean Claude Van Damme not only relevant again but, unexpectedly, an art-house darling.
The Insiders focuses on the character Najah Cruz, a “Colombian who is as deadly as she is beautiful.” Armed with the weapons skills of James Bond Cruz must, according to icv2, “infiltrate a worldwide mafia-like organization composed of businessmen and politicians” to become the bodyguard of the organization’s leader.
The Insiders marks one of many projects Alba has lined up at the moment.

Cancelling "Dollhouse" disappointed a lot of Joss Whedon fans when Fox announced that it had pulled the plug, but Eliza Dushku felt the brunt of the decision as hard as anyone. She faced her Twitter followers with the news today and a sad smiley.
Mike Tyson, meanwhile, reportedly faced a paparazzo, landing at least one good punch, and Kirstie Alley has his back in Twitter-Wood. There were a few great pics today in the feed, too, including a shot from MoMA's new Tim Burton exhibit and Sarah Silverman's birthday tribute to her show's multi-talented producer, director and writer Rob Schrab, better known to any comic book readers out there as the creator of "Scud: The Disposable Assassin." Check those out after the jump and find out which "Twilight" actor visiting Alex Rodriguez's home. It's all in the Twitter-Wood report for November 12, 2009.

Nobody Cares: Dane Cook Wants to Play The Riddler

I dunno, I guess maybe MTV asked its readers who they thought should play the Riddler if - If - that's the villain in the third Christopher Nolan Batman movie, and on the heels of that, Dane Cook does my least favorite thing in the world: He offers his services for a coveted role during the course of an interview.
"I love the new Dark Knight series and Batman Begins," Cook told MTV. "If they brought back The Riddler—a new Riddler the way they did with The Joker—that would be bad-ass. I would do that." Well that's good, because I'm sure the reason the third movie hasn't moved forward yet is because Nolan wanted to hold out for the star of Good Luck Chuck and My Best Friend's Girl.

'Riddle Me This', Dane Cook Says

If the next Batman movie ends up featuring a certain puzzle-loving villain, actor/comedian Dane Cook wants in on the role.
According to MTV, the Good Luck Chuck star was recently asked if there were comic book movie characters he would like to play, to which he replied, "I love the new Dark Knight series and Batman Begins. If they brought back The Riddler—a new Riddler the way they did with The Joker—that would be bad-ass. I would do that."
The Riddler, a genius-level intellect frequently motivated by the challenge of outsmarting Batman, was previously played by Jim Carrey in the 1995 Batman Forever. Admittedly, Carrey’s manic shtick got old really fast, but at least Cook seems to realize that any Bat-villain must convey a sense of menace, not just dress up in flashy tights laden with question marks.
"When they were making the new one and they were doing The Joker,

When "Twilight" cast members began tweeting about subjects involving missing clothing, I definitely did not expect to log on to Twitter today and find out that Christian Serratos decided to outdo all of them, but but her new garment-less PETA ad definitely succeeded.
Dane Cook and Ice-t, meanwhile, were less focused on saving fur and more intent on playing "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" this weekend, according to their posts, and at least one of them found himself in possession of some nightvision goggles. Check all of that out after the jump along with Danny Masterson's criticism for Andre Agassi, "Toy Story 3" director Lee Unkrich's favorite childhood toy and much more. Funnyman Dane Cook was left speechless at his stand-up show on Thursday night when he was presented with two top comedy awards.
The Good Luck Chuck star performed his new set ISolated INcident at his Dane Cook & Friends show at New York's Madison Square Garden, as part of November's New York Comedy Festival, where he was supported by a handful of comedian pals, including Friday star Mike Epps.
But Cook stood stunned at the end of his encore when his manager bounded on stage to congratulate him on winning two special honours.
The actor was handed an engraved crystal prize naming him the only comedian in history to have two albums debut in the top five on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, and he was even more taken aback when he picked up the Billboard Touring Award for Top Comedy Tour of 2009. Cook was unable to attend the Thursday night ceremony in the Big Apple because of his stand-up show.
An honoured Cook said of the awards: "This is amazing, thank you very much.".
The star has scored huge success with his stand-up CDs, with 2005's Retaliation and this year's Dane Cook: ISolated INcident both entering the chart at number four.

Every time that a new Uwe Boll film comes out, I watch it hoping that this will be the film in which he succeeds in blowing me away; I haven’t had that happen yet. Sure, his next release, Rampage, looks like it may be his finest work to date -- but that is like saying a small bag of garbage is better than a large bag of garbage. Our buddies over at /Film have pointed out a new trailer for Boll’s next film titles Storm, or Final Storm if you check out the IMDb page.
To be honest, with Boll’s track record of video game movies, I fully expected Storm to be about the new Blackberry phone; however, the only synopsis I could find for Storm was on IMDb and it looks like I I’ll have to wait for that Blackberry film:

Cook Speaks Out About Eviction Reports

Comedian Dane Cook has broken his silence about the legal battle which forced him out of his Los Angeles apartment last year, insisting it was his decision to leave the property.
The Good Luck Chuck star was reported to have been evicted from his West Hollywood home last September after his landlord took legal action against him following complaints about the actor's dog.
The lawsuit, filed in April 2008, claimed Cook had ignored three warnings from the building's owner about his pet chihuahua, which the actor allegedly allowed to defecate on the land surrounding his apartment.
Cook was allegedly slapped with an eviction notice by the Los Angeles sheriff's department but the case was eventually settled out of court and he moved into a new pad in the Hollywood Hills.
But, more than a year on from the controversy, the star has spoken out to clarify reports, insisting the media got it all wrong.
He tells the New York Post's gossip column Page Six, "We settled that out of court... I was not evicted... I went out willingly."
But the false reporting has not encouraged Cook to address any future rumours in a more timely fashion: "Sometimes I like letting people think these things."

Happy birthday to 'Eclipse' star Jodelle Ferland and (belated) to 'New Moon' star Noot Seear!

Today, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse star Jodelle Ferland celebrates her 15th birthday.
Ferland, though not long in the tooth, has had a very prolific and successful career in films and television.
She started acting at the far-from-ripe age of five years old in the television series Cold Squad.
Since then, Ferland has appeared in films such as Tideland, Silent Hill, The Messengers, Good Luck Chuck, and Case 39. She has also appeared in television shows like Kingdom Hospital, Masters Of Horror, and Smallville.
Though she is best known, like her friend and Eclipse co-star Cameron Bright, for her "young but creepy" .. October 5th, The Twilight Saga: New Moon actress Noot Seear turned 26. She, a long-term, successful model-turned-actress, has just recently made her way into the realm of films (though she did also appear on an episode of Cold Squad as well). With her great

As we reported earlier today, Jessica Alba is set to join the third installment of the Meet the Parents series. What's that I hear? A collective groan? I couldn't agree more.
Considering Alba's career choices as of late (i.e. The Love Guru and Good Luck Chuck), I can't imagine she'll be bringing in the laughs. It's a risky move for a film that has already has high chances of becoming an epic fail, though not in the box office sense. No, it'll probably fare well in that department. But, judging by the slapstick route the sequel, Meet the Fockers,

What's been missing from the Focker family saga?
Jessica Alba.
Joining the celebrated ranks of fellow Focker stars including Robert De Niro, Dustin Hoffman, Owen Wilson and Barbra Streisand, the actress is in talks to join the next installment of Ben Stiller's Meet the Parents series, according Hollywood Reporter's Risky Biz blog.
The actress, whose recent big screen comedic efforts include The Love Guru and Good Luck Chuck, would reportedly play a sexy pharmaceutical rep in the film, Little Fockers.
And we can only guess that she would be the cause of much embarassment and physical anguish to Stiller's hapless Greg

She's given horror and comic book movies a good try, but is Jessica Alba's real calling in comedy?
Not if you take The Love Guru or Good Luck Chuck as any sort of sign, but that isn't stopping her from putting laughs on the line once more. You gotta admire her fortitude. And her superior posterior.
Alba is in talks to join the scarcely necessary but sure-to-be-profitable sequel The Little Fockers, completing the Meet The Parents/Fockers trilogy.
She'd supply her divine derriere to the role

"Twilight" covers pretty much turned into the Sports Illustrated cover of hand-modeling gigs, but Kimbra Hickey snagged it, and actor Justin Chon earned my photo pic for the day with his candid TwitPic of her from the weekend. In other tweets, Robert Rodriguez gleefully celebrated his confirmed actors for "Machete," calling out Jessica Alba and Robert De Niro. As it turns out, the director has his own Twitter fan in Dane Cook, who's read the script. Kristen Bell, meanwhile, claims to have been reading "hacked" tweets coming out of her account. In what may be a related event, Dax Shepard called out a poser using the fake name @IMkristenBeII (note how two upper case i's can resemble two lowercase L's), who tried to break up with him.
