Parents Guide for
The Break-Up (2006)

The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this new feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes .
Visit our Parents Guide Help to learn more

Sex & Nudity

-There is a scene where you see Jennifer Aniston's backside while she walks back to her bedroom from the kitchen (in some versions you can clearly see her butt but in other versions it is a blur).

-There is also a scene where Vince Vaughn has strippers (or something to that effect) over. Be careful: You almost see one woman's breasts.

Violence & Gore

There are several scenes where Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn argue, but there are no fight scenes or gore.

Profanity

There 1 usage of the "F" word. Vince Vaughn says G-damn several times, as well as sh*t.

Not very much here. No drug use. Some references to Jennifer Aniston drinking Apple Martinis. Vince Vaughn suggested that one of her dates try to get her into bed by buying her one or two.

When they argue, the scenes can be intense. There are no frightening scenes.
