Trivia:

The flags hoisted by the pirate fleet are based on actual flags of real-world pirates. We see (in no particular order) the flags of: Christopher Moody (red flag with a winged chalice, arm & knife, and skull on crossbones), Thomas Tew (an arm with a cutlass), De Vranck (a man clubbing a skull & crossbones), Bartholomew "Black Bart" Roberts (a man dancing with a skeleton who holds a spear), and Edward Low (a red skeleton). The flag hoisted by the Black Pearl is that of John "Calico Jack" Rackham (a skull and crossed cutlasses).

Goofs:

Continuity: Just after the Black Pearl has just been dragged into the sea from the sand there is a mooring line attached to the bow of the ship. It disappears and reappears in several scenes after that.

A fine ending!

This is a fantastic ending to a great trilogy. I know many were disappointed with the 2nd installment, but you will not be disappointed by this one! I think it's equivalent to the 1st in quality.

The battle scenes are AMAZING and the new and old characters are perfect. Johnny Depp delivers as usual but the addition of Keith Richards as his dad sealed the deal (at least for me anyway). The twists and turns of this movie keep you guessing and sitting at the edge of your seat.

THIS IS A MOVIE NOT TO BE MISSED!!!
