Trivia:
The show's working title was "Crazy", and the original concept was to have Chris Langham's therapist talking to various celebrity clients. Langham disliked the idea, and suggested that Paul Whitehouse play all the client roles - even though the two had never worked together, or even met. moreQuotes:
Peter: And I say to you, I say: Tell me, kind sir -John Hardacre: Hail!
Peter: Yes, hail -
John Hardacre: Well met, sir knight!
Peter: Yeah, all right, and I say to you: In this brave new world, what line of work are you in? What do you do for a, you know, what's your bloody job?
John Hardacre: And what do I say?
Peter: You answer him, John.
John Hardacre: Well, he wouldn't know what a TV chef was!
Peter: TV chef.
John Hardacre: He'd know what a chef was.

When I first moved to Thailand, I checked out BBC America a few times on satellite UBC and frankly was always disappointed by how stodgy all the show were, except for such classics as Red Dwarf, The Office, and Coupling. But this year I've discovered a lot of cool shows by just flipping through. Anyway, I don't have a lot to say about this show except that its brilliant. The acting is spectacular and the writing clever. I'm not really sure why I have to comment with ten lines of text when I've already said everything I wanted to say about this show, because I just started watching it. Anyway, ten lines seems a bit arbitrary, hold on, I need to count my lines before I continue typing...yep got it.
