Sex & Nudity

  • Two main characters wear extremely revealing low-plunge dresses to an art gallery. Fans may watch this just for those intentionally-revealing scenes, but parents might find such objectionable. Bust-emphasizing clothing employed throughout the film... and there's plenty to emphasize.
  • Nothing R-rated, though there's prominent cleavage and leggy blondes, and some navel-baring. One scene in which Hoyle takes a bath; we see her nude from the back, though nothing is really visible. In another she wears a wet robe in the rain; similarly the Singer character wears an evening gown in the rain. A scene in which Hoyle is shirtless in a rainstorm, wearing only a bra. Dead Man is shown shirtless. A college student flirts with Hoyle and the Singer at the same time; his desire for a threesome is implied. Provocative clothing throughout, though nothing overtly objectionable.

Violence & Gore

  • An intense gunfight scene. Close ups on a dead body. Two characters are visibly shot, with blood.

Profanity

  • One bullshit; one or two god damns.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Much of the story takes place in a bar where alcohol is regularly served, or in a home where Hoyle regularly drinks to oblivion. There is valid reason presented for such, but there is no shortage of alcohol at any time in this story.
  • Hoyle drinks excessively is numerous scenes, including while at work. Is said to have a drinking problem. The Singer character drinks once in a bar; so does the Dudas character. Hoyle and the Singer get a college student very drunk in order to extract information from him. In one scene the Dead Man smokes a cigarette. No drug use.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Some chase scenes. In one scene a character hangs dangerously from a rooftop. Hoyle is taken to the hospital in an emergency ambulance after passing out. The entire premise of the film, about manipulating reality and time, is not particularly frightening but will be over most young viewers' heads.
