It's about an family with an oil trading business (Dewindt Fuel Trading)

Warning: Spoilers
It's a series about the family Dewindt. The whole family owns shares in the family business (an oil-business in the harbor of Antwerp). And that's a nice breed for tensions in the family. Especially, after the death of Karel Dewindt, when Steven and Bart both start to fight to be in charge of the company. Steven and Bart also have another brother, Tom, who's not interested at all in the family business, and who started a farm with his wife. And Lies their sister is a fashion designer.

Their are a lot of great Belgian actors in the series, like Axel Daeseleire, but if you have seen the series 'flikken' or the movie 'Dennis' you'll think that he's just doing this series for the money, and that he has no intention at all to do any efforts to really act. Something that really is remarkable is that you'll see an young promising actress, Muriel Bats, who plays Sumaya. She seems like the perfect actress to replace Ann Peterssen (the best Belgian actress ever, whom unfortunately died a few years ago).

The story isn't really original. If you look at the series, you'll notice a lot of resemblances with other series. If you've seen the Dutch series 'Westenwind', you'll think that you've seen all this before.

The soundtrack by the Belgian band 'Lemon' manages to save this series. But in generally, I wouldn't rate this series above 6/10.

Perhaps an interesting detail: The TV-series was sponsored by the Belgian government to encourage people to start their own business.
