Good summer show...., 30 June 2005
Author: redheadliz25 from Southern California
I am 22 and I thought that a ABC family show would cater to the teens and of course it does, but I enjoy it nonetheless. Perhaps it is because it is the summer and there is nothing on TV but I really enjoy this show. And that says a lot considering I am not a horse fan (that is my sister!) I enjoy the dynamics and can forgive all the inaccuracies in the horsemanship, mostly due to the fact that I don't care. I watch this show for the relationships and not the horses. The whole situation with Wildfire only responding to Kris may be a bit far fetched but so is so many things on TV. This show has promise and even someone in their 20s can enjoy it. The acting is good and I hope that this show picks up. Watch it, you just might be surprised. There is nothing better on TV anyway!

great show, 19 July 2005
Author: cutevbstar1404 from United States
I have watched this show since the first episode and i was instantly hooked. It is full of drama and romance and everything else a good show should have. I can never wait to see what the next episode will be and see what problems will arise. The acting could improve a little bit but it gets the job done and the point across. I highly recommend this show and after one episode.the show also is great for people that love or even just like animals. It mainly focuses on a horse named, wildfire. In the first episode the main character, Kris, saved the horse from being killed. So the show also tells people to protect animals and that we should all be kind to the animals. Also the horse, wildfire, makes you just fall in love with it with one glance. The producers picked a great horse to play the part. I'm sure you too will agree with me on saying that this show is great.

yay!, 28 June 2005

I love this show. It is kind of like "The O.C.", except for a family crowd. And a little gender role reversal. It's great. The guys are cute, and the people have issues. That is all I ask for in a good TV show. I hope that the story lines maintain their greatness. So far, the quality hasn't declined, like many other shows I have seen. I will continue to watch this show, and I encourage everyone else to watch it, too. I'm glad that I can watch it with my parents without having to have any embarrassing talks about weird stuff that I get when I watch "The O.C." And I also love the horses. They are so beautiful. Especially Wildfire himself. I love this show! Yay!

Awesome!!!, 13 January 2006
Author: charmedgirl517 from United States
This is the best show I have ever seen! I'd recommend it to any teenager out there who loves a lot of drama in their t.v. shows! The plot line is so good, it would make a show even with bad actors and actresses look good! The cast is also amazing! Genevive COrtese, Ryan Sypek, Micah ALberti, Nana Visitor, James Read, Nicole Tubolia, Arye Gross, Greg Serano, Dennis Weaver, and Andrew Hoeft are all really amazing actors and actresses; as well as all of the short term and long term characters on this show. Wildfire and all the other horses are great. The characters who ride the horses are marvelous. In my opinion, everyone should watch the best show on Earth, and Wildfire is it!

Good teen show, 1 August 2005
Author: Andy Rice from United States
My 14 year old horse loving daughter loves this show which means that the entire house has to watch.
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the writing and acting of some characters--notably Genevieve Cortese, Arye Gross, and the especially talented Nana Visitor. Sadly, all of the acting is not of that quality. Greg Serano as Pablo seems stiff and stoic in every scene.
Production quality could be stepped up a bit, but I suspect they're squeezing everything possible from the budget.
There have been a few scenes that might be too sexually charged or violent for young children, but the rating system works. Use it if you have young children watching television.

Prepare to be surprised., 31 March 2008
Author: RitualXIII from United Kingdom
I'm 22 and certainly not a girly girl. This was a friends suggestion and I started watching it with no small amount of trepidation.
And I was very happily surprised! The characters have more depth than I've come to expect from teen dramas and having watched a several episodes of the O.C and various series of a similar vein I have to say - This blows them out of the water.
The main character is also a fabulous role model for any younger teens watching the series, its truly refreshing to see a strong character with a bit of bite and without the vain flailing most series seem to give their female leads.
The biggest praise I can give is to tell anyone reading to -watch- it. No matter age or anything else, give it a try.

Wildfire devotee, 29 March 2008

I love Wildfire and have since the first episode! Matter of fact I have only missed one episode, thanks to my husband not understanding the DVR and boy did he hear it when I went to watch it and it wasn't there!! Wildfire is a show that all ages can enjoy! I know teens that love the show, they watch it with their parents that are middle aged and then I even know several older couples that watch the show too! The horses are phenomenal. I love watching the racing! Of course I also love the drama of the show. I feel like the cast couldn't have been picked any better. I feel like if I drove far enough I could pull into Raintree to visit with the Ritter's! That is how real it is to the fans! Anyway, I can't imagine Wildfire ending so please unite fans!

Primitive!, 11 August 2009
Author: Alexey Semko from Russian Federation

I was translating this show for Russian TV. I found it absolutely primitive.. Most of the actors are completely untalented. Seems they've never taken acting technique lessons. They can only stare showing their sorrow and smile foolishly showing joy. The characters are flat. Dialogs are silly and senseless. Tons of 'okay', 'hey', 'yeah' and other language rubbish. When there's nothing to say ( and this happens rather often) the characters just foolishly sigh. Lots of sentimental scenes. Script writers don't have even a grain of imagination! The producers have wasted their money. For people who don't care what to watch. For those who prefer to see color spots on the screen. Waste of time.
I truly loved the show, 16 April 2009

At 30 years old, I have seen many TV shows and I have become quite a critic. I discovered Wildfire only 2 weeks ago and truthfully I have become a addict since then. It is an amazing show, entertaining, with great characters and let's face it some very good actors. I also love the horses, Wildfire being of course my favorite. I love the relationships formed in the show and the chemistry between the characters. I especially love the message of the show: a girl, with problems in the past, changes because her love for one amazing horse - who is as problematic as she is - and gets a second chance in life to become a great jockey. And she really does a great job. It is all about the love for animals, for nature, how people can change if they have a second chance, and how people who are meant for each other finally end together. I was a fan of Kris and Junior and I loved how this characters practically grew up as individuals and as a couple. I cried at the end of the show when everybody ended up happy and I think the writers really did a great job with that final episode. I know it was just a TV show but it definitely made my life more beautiful while watching it. And I am definitely going to watch it again and that is why I recommend it to all categories of people, both young or adults. You have something to learn from this show and you will surely love it as I did.

As in the words of Nicole Tubiola (Dani) from an interview, "I think what keeps viewers tuning in to "Wildfire" is just the fact that it is a heart-warming story. It's something that everyone can relate to and there is something for everybody. I think that you can see yourself in at least one of the characters in our show. It's entertaining, we have love triangles, we have a little suspense every now and then. It's fun to see people sometimes do the wrong thing, as opposed to always having to be right. We have characters who are flawed and I think that's important. I think humans as a whole are flawed, I think that's why you can kind of see yourself in them."
