This short from 2001, which can be found for free on Amazon Prime, had potential that came absolutely no where close to materializing. The short is based around a possessed television that haunts a man by playing ads based on his past, present, and future. I found this premise intriguing, unfortunately, the short fails on basically all accounts. Rather than play anything terrifying, the t.v. simply plays ads that are slightly related to the man. For some reason, he finds this disturbing and ends the short in a worse place than where he started. Luckily, the short is only 8 minutes long because I would not have sat through another minute of it.
