Liam Neeson is one busy dude these days post-Taken, as it was just announced he’s taking the lead in Unknown White Male, and he’s signed on for Clash Of The Titans, The A-team and a Taken sequel. But the next time you’ll see him in theaters will likely be in After.Life, where he plays a mortician who holds Christina Ricci’s life in his hands.
These shots from Bloody Disgusting are the very first look at the project, which in addition to Ricci and

Dark Castle is contemplating not such an unknown actor for Unknown White Male. Recovering from his morning, Liam Neeson is in talks to star in the thriller.
Liam Neeson Discussing Unknown White Male
Directed by Juame Collet-Serra off a script by Oliver Butcher and Stephen Cornwell, Unknown White Male will have Neeson play a doctor who goes to Berlin for a medical conference and gets into a car accident. When he awakens from a coma, he discovers that not only doesn.t his wife recognize him, she is living with another man who has assumed his identity.
If the story sounds familiar, then you likely read Out of My Head, the novel on which the film is based by author Didier Van Cauwelaert.

In Unknown White Male, Neeson will play a doctor who falls into a coma after a car accident. When he wakes up, he discovers that he.s been replaced. Another man with sinister intentions has taken over his life, leaving him with no choice but to embark on a quest to uncover the truth. Since the tragic death of his wife, actor Liam Neeson has been working almost non-stop to presumably keep his mind otherwise occupied. Neeson's fans will be happy that's his coping mechanism for loss rather than grieving in seclusion - in the coming months he'll be seen as Zeus in Clash Of The Titans and as Hannibal Smith in the big-screen update of The A-team.
Neeson adds another to his queue, a suspense thriller called Unknown White Male. The Dark Castle flick puts Neeson in the role of

- [Editor's note: To coincide with The End of the Line's release today at the Cinema Village in New York and Laemmle Sunset 5 in Los Angeles, we've re-published the following interview which took place during the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.]
Rupert Murray
Eric Lavallee: How did this documentary subject “land on your plate”? And more importantly, how did this become a story you wanted to explore? Rupert Murray: I’d been reading horror articles in the newspapers about the oceans sporadically for about 5 years, but I always thought – how do I put these together into a film? I always had had a passion for marine life and then I read Charles Clover’s book The End of The Line and I realized my search was over. He had spent 15 years researching and amassing stories and data that laid the whole thing out and to me, he revealed two things, one; it’s ten times worse than I ever imagined, and two; it’s so easy (relatively to other global problems) to solve. So I decided to contact him and make the film and so two years and a

Here's a brief rundown of what's going on in the world of horror movies.
"The Box," Richard Kelly's film based on "Button Button" by Richard Matheson, has had its release date moved to put it against "Saw VI." The film now opens October 30. ...
And speaking of "Saw VI", Shawnee Smith has just been confirmed as having a role in that. ...
Jaume Collet-Serra, director of the forthcoming "The Orphan" and the mixed bag that was "House of Wax" is set to direct "Unknown White Male" for Dark Castle Entertainment. In the film, a doctor awakens from a coma to discover someone has taken his place in life.

Unknown White Male Sounds Horrific

There's a movie called Possession that's been delayed many, many times by now, about two men who get in a car accident and then seem to have switched identities, or at least stolen identities, afterward. Even though that movie can't seem to get a release date, Dark Castle is planning a film that sounds an awful lot like it.
Joel Silver will produce Unknown White Male, a thriller about a doctor who awakes from a coma after a car accident only to find that another man has assumed his identity. Juame Collet-Serra, who previously made House of Wax and the upcoming Orphan for Dark Castle, will take charge of this one as well. It's a neat idea, even if it's a familiar one, and a good take on it might have more luck than poor Possession.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dark Castle's next will be Unkown White Male, 'a thriller about a doctor who awakens from a coma to find he seemingly has been replaced by another man'. Ok, right, got it. Super creepy looking Orphan director Jaume Collet-Serra is set to direct while Karl Gadjusek (writer of Taken) wrote a draft of the script. Let's see, super stylized meets Saturday night action flick fare...sounds like this might be a case of style over substance, but then again, nothing that Dark Castle has put out has been all that ground-breaking, strictly popcorn cinema. What do you guys think? At least it's not a remake, right? Right?

Dark Castle Entertainment must love Spanish director Jaume Collet-Serra as they've tapped him to once again get behind the camera for a Joel Silver produced horror thriller being released via Warner Bros. Pictures. The director of House Of Wax and the forthcoming Orphan is now prepping for Unknown White Male, a very Twilight Zone-esque thriller that you can read more about inside.
Jaume Collet-Serra, who is helming upcoming child-centric thriller "Orphan" for Silver and Warners, is attached to direct.
According to the logline, "Male" centers on a doctor who, when visiting Berlin with his wife, gets into a car accident that leaves him in a coma; he then awakens to find out that someone has taken his place, leading him on a frantic quest to discover the truth.
Karl Gadjusek, who penned the home-invasion drama Taken that's in development at Overture, wrote a draft of the script.
