This is a really good film, and tells a largely untold but important story. I saw it once on PBS, and I don't think it has been shown again; it never re-aired in my area, at least. There's not even much info about it online, it's as though it's being forgotten (again), when the whole point was to reveal some history that was practically unknown, or perhaps known and quickly forgotten. (I certainly never heard of Hoxie before this, though I heard about Little Rock and Montgomery and Boston.) My friend digitally recorded this when it aired, and with no official release he made a DVD of this to preserve it and be able to show to others. It is especially good for teachers and history buffs, but I suppose anyone could get it. Well, I know where you can get this on DVD, an exclusive - just write me for details. Peace!
