Bella Nabiyah, who portrayed Muna, was hospitalized suddenly during filming. Producers searched several hospitals to find her, and she was back at work the next day.
All the artwork in the film was created by the film's executive producer, the late Brian L. Jones. The "Untitled" picture at the end of the film was created by Jones, but he gave Nikia Kali credit because she adds the very last part of the painting live on camera at the end of the film.
The film marked a series of short subject dramas that Robert produced, in which a "death" or "hooded figure" would appear.
Actor 'Matthew Borish' and producer, Nan Bernstein Freed both stopped by the set during filming to support the director. All three of them worked together on the CBS series, Hack (2002). Borish also prepared additional catering for one day of production on Simply Untitled (2004).
This was the first film project for both Keisha Hutchins and Jillian Encarnacion, who co-starred.
