Good gay horror short
preppy-33 December 2013
Matthew (Jerry G. Angelo) invites David (Brent Gorski) over to his place after meeting on the Internet. They're awkward at first but soon start kissing. Then David starts acting strange and somewhat creepy. Has Matthew made a mistake? You won't see what's coming next.

Creepy gay horror short. The guys are hot, the acting is good and hunky Angelo spends virtually the entire short in his underpants. It's well-directed with a very eerie atmosphere and a couple of decent jump scares. No graphic gore or elaborate special effects but there's some good gruesome makeup work and a satisfying ending. This is the only gay horror short I've ever seen and was pleased by the results. The whole film is available for free on IMDb. Well worth catching.

Who knew tricking could be so creepy?

A creepy look at two defining (and equally terrifying) concepts for many gay men: Tricking and TURNING THIRTY! All kidding aside, this is a great short film, combining some good acting and a number of horror standards into a ghoulish example of gay horror, a field that has too long gone unrepresented. As a short film it manages to give adequate back-story without slowing itself down, jumping into the action after an appropriate build-up of tension. The production has a shoe-string look to it, which does not in any way impact the story itself, and some of the spookier moments are actually amplified by this look. Don't expect to see any amazing special effects, just some good make-up work and clean direction! I watched a screening of this movie in West Hollywood and everyone there had a good time watching this one!
