We had that mixer when I was growing up, or one enough like it to be easily mistaken for it.
As for this movie, my first reaction was to sneer at it for mansplaining basic safety in the kitchen. I don't think the portmanteau word was invented when this was produced, but the concept is not a new one. I think that had they chosen a woman to narrate it, it would have been a wiser choice.
As for their recommendations for safety.... well, they seem rather basic and ordinary. Who does know not to pick up hot items with a wet towel? I know it, yet occasionally forget. So, although this short subject tells us things we should already know... well, sometimes we don't. And sometimes we forget, so it's good to remind us.
