Storyline

A look at Emir Kusturica in 2003, while he goes to the Cannes Film Festival, directs "Zivot je cudo" in the hills of Serbia, and talks about how he makes movies and the emotions that go with filmmaking. A few friends and colleagues comment as well about him, his personality, and his method. We also see him on stage with the band No Smoking Orchestra, with whom he plays and sometimes tours. Clips from several of his films are included, as much to set a mood as to illustrate what is being discussed. We also meet his daughter Dunja, watch him chat with Jeanne Moreau, and see him at Cannes, applauded enthusiastically. Written by <jhailey@hotmail.com>
