Roving Home Improvement.
It's one of the cleverest twists I've ever seen in a 'how-to' show: home improvement by a crew of contractors posing as a dysfunctional family. Just watch one episode of this show, and you'll be hooked. You'll find yourselves addicted not only to the handy bits of advice and beautiful finished results, but to the crew as well. They work well together, but are not above bickering on camera (though I suspect some conflicts are staged, like they are on so many other 'reality' shows). Their knowledge of craft and each other makes the show as entertaining as a standard family sitcom. You'll inevitably have a favorite- whether it be James (of the Outback), comic 'plaster man' Danny, stoic drywall man Justin, sexy handy-woman Jennie (who's just-one-of-the-guys), Greg (plumbing expert; bald, redwood-tree of a man; is he the patriarch?), or resident hunk electrician Sparky (who's already been compared to Joey Tribbiani, I swear). And the crew is well anchored by off-center host Marc. Throw in some beautiful interior designers (the IAF 'angels-' Nani, Deborah, Evette, and Franzella), and you're all set.
