When Henry is in Grace's room, she puts an album on the turn table on track one, and it plays Crimson and Clover, by Tommy James and the Shondells. In the next cut, the turn table is behind Grace and isn't spinning and the needle is off the record, but the music is still playing. During that time, the lid to the player is up, but when Henry goes into the closet for 20 minutes to wait for Grace to return, the lid is shown down, and the album has somehow changed to a Velvet Underground album.
In the skinny dipping scene, you see Henry jump into the pond. You immediately hear the splash, however you do not hear the "WOOOO!" he lets out before hitting the water until afterward when he is underneath it.
When main character Henry Nearing is carded at the bar, the bartender asks if he is 21, but the drinking age in NJ in 1978 was 18 not 21.
The letter carrier that delivers the mail to Henry's house is wearing a baseball style cap that wasn't part of the U.S. Postal worker's uniform until 1982, and the setting of the movie is 1978.
