Teens film about adoption
matsolsson3 November 2005
The main reason to see this film is because it deals with the subject of adoption. Not many films do, as far as I know. This film deals with adoption from the perspective of an adopted girl in her teens.

Common teen worries are complicated by the thoughts around being adopted.

Although not very realistic this film has its points. It has its funny moments, and the acting is good. It is more of a modern fairy tale than a "based on a true story". For someone being adopted and in his/her teens I think this movie can be quite touching and valuable. And for friends and relatives of adopted.

I recommend it.

Quite boring, TOO little of India, but good acting!
diehard9216 October 2005
I thought by the film's title, Ebba and her friend would travel to India and experience lots of goodies from India but they just show India in the last 15 minutes and much depressing of Sweden. This is a high budget movie because scenes are actually taken in India.

I should give credit to the casts acting, especially from Gayatri.

The Indian boy, Rupesh (Amit R Pandey) showed very good confidence and can reach to a high status in the Movie business. He's very sweet too. What more to say? It's in the beginning they show much sadness then later it becomes serious and finally a happy or sad ending?

Otherwise there are some funny scenes in the movie.

Review & (Does it still hold up as i remember?)

Warning: Spoilers
Bombay Dreams is a Swedish drama movie made in 2004, i was born 2006 and this was a funny classic in my family, i have heard many say that this is a quite. Poorly made movie. I can agree that it have some cheeky moments, the jokes in this movie like the classroom photoshop scene, or those dance scenes who are so boring.

Two things that does hold up this movie is the actors, the director actually chose famous actors like Sissela Kyle and Peter Dalle. And the second is the music, Take the example ARASH, he is one of the best Persian Pop artists, because the movie is named Bombay Dreams his music fits perfect.

If i could say something that the movie could have improved is that it could had more Indian moments, its like in 45 minutes of the movie Ebba reaches India, it could have needed more Indian scenes.
