Two agents of the Night Watch, Ilya and Semyon, wrestle on the kitchen floor with the witch, Darya Schultz]
Darya, Witch:

cries out] Little Masha! My little girl! Help! Masha! Masha! Help!

Masha, Darya's familiar spirit, animates a small doll on a shelf above them, sprouting eight spider-like legs. After spilling cooking oil on them to free Darya's hands, she jumps down onto the kitchen floor, pauses briefly, and then slowly begins to advance on Ilya]
Transformer-Mage Ilya:

yelling at Masha] Go away! Go away, you filth! I'll rip your little head off!

Kostya and his father are in the meat locker at the butcher shop. After drinking pig's blood, Anton has just left]
Vampire, Kostya's father:
Why did you bring him?
Kostya:
He became like us.
Vampire, Kostya's father:
No, Kostya. He's a Light one. And Light ones only drink blood in one situation... when they're hunting those like us.

Anton has tracked the human bait to the old hair salon. The vampires are hiding]
Anton Gorodetsky:
Night Watch! Everyone step out of the the Twilight!

Geser lies on the floor with a book, telling the tale of the Virgin of Byzantium, the origin of the Others, the Great War, and the prophecy of the Great Other]
Geser:
...And so it will be, until a man emerges who is meant to become the Great One. And, if he chooses the side of Light, then Light will win. But, those, to whom the truth has been revealed, say that he will choose Darkness. For it is easier to kill the Light within oneself, than to scatter the Darkness around... Two agents of the Day Watch, in a shiny, black sports car, have found Vampiress Larisa wandering in the middle of traffic in a busy tunnel. Slowing the car to a walk, agent Alisa Donnikova pulls up alongside, and holds a jar pig's blood just out of Larisa's hungry reach]
Vampiress Larisa, initiate:
[
grasping for the jar of pig's blood] Give it to me!
Alisa Donnikova:
What, you've sunk to pig's blood?
Vampiress Larisa, initiate:
Give it to me!
Alisa Donnikova:
Andrey taught you how to call.
Vampiress Larisa, initiate:
He taught me, he taught me. Give it to me!
Alisa Donnikova:
The boy succumbed to your call. Lure him out, and when he's in your hands, demand that they bring the one who killed your Andrey.
Vampiress Larisa, initiate:
My Andrey... Give it to me, please. Well, give it here.
Alisa Donnikova:

Vampiress Larisa, initiate:

Day Watch agent:
Listen, don't torture her.
Vampiress Larisa, initiate:

Alisa stops the car, then flips the jar of pig's blood onto the pavement in front of Larisa, where it shatters]
Alisa Donnikova:

to her colleague] Now she'll find him, for sure.
Day Watch agent:
Just how is she going to find him?
[
Alisa tosses the boy's swimming goggles onto the pool of pig's blood]
Vampiress Larisa, initiate:
She'll find him... like a dog.
[
Anton and sorceress Olga are in the kitchen. Olga, in owl form, has just flown to the kitchen table]
Olga, sorceress:
whooo... whooooo...
Anton Gorodetsky:
Well, do you want to eat something?
Olga, sorceress:
whoo whoo...
Anton Gorodetsky:
A miracle in feathers. Mmm? Well, say something. Be human.
[
Anton turns to leave. Suddenly, Olga begins an explosive transformation. Loose feathers and ooze fly everywhere]
Olga, sorceress:
Turn away!... Turn away!... Don't turn around!
[
Her transformation complete, Olga, now in human form, is kneeling on the table. Both Olga and the kitchen are a mess, covered with loose feathers and ooze]
Anton Gorodetsky:
Is it you?
Olga, sorceress:
Turn away!
[
Olga crawls off the table, slowly walks up behind Anton, and snuggles, naked, into his back]
Olga, sorceress:
...Were you afraid?
Anton Gorodetsky:
The shower... it's there.
[
Geser and Zvalun sit talking in a darkened bedroom. Anton enters]
Zavulon:
Ah, the Light mage with a Dark past has come... just the one I'm looking for...
[
Vampiress Larisa holds Yegor hostage, threatening to bite his neck]
Vampiress Larisa, initiate:
You, the 'Light' ones, the 'kind' ones, who've decided they have a right to protect the world from Darkness. Where were you when they drank my blood? Why can't I do that now?
Anton Gorodetsky:
Because I won't let you.
Vampiress Larisa, initiate:
I want to live.
Anton Gorodetsky:
So live. Live. Who's stopping you?
Vampiress Larisa, initiate:
I want to be human again.
Anton Gorodetsky:
You want to be human? Then act like a human.
Yegor:
Mom? Mom! Are vampires real?
Irina, Yegor's mother:
Yes, Yegor. They are little boys who have been known to suck all the life out of their parents.
Yegor:
I'm serious. They're real. I saw some.
