I like the films premise of friendship in the beginning but as having seen other Kim Ki Duk films such as spring,summer,autumn,winter and spring,as well as 3 iron, i did'nt like this so much. its such the first half was decent until a long list of unrealistic events that put me off the film deals with these two girls who decide to travel to Europe and need money so like you do they decide to run a prostitution business until something goes wrong and in not the way the misleading DVD synopsis described, which implied that she was "killed" in an police raid,which leads to the other girl feeling guilty so she decides to sleep with her dead friends previous clients just to return all their money(why not just give them back their cash?)i know that most of Kim's films has the characters depictions that never bare any relation to real life,but still i found this film hard to get,especially the father,who goes on a revenge spree on the men who think its OK to sleep with underage girls,fair enough,he disgraces them a bit etc,but loses control at the end. The film doesn't rate highly to me as the previous films because the characters,actions and plot seem so illogical,though the ending is quite touching.
