If you like the film, and there is a good chance you will, this is a nice bonus with the movie. The making of the movie is pretty interesting although it doesn't show us much new stuff. We learn more about the actors, the ships used in the movie, the visual effects, the production design, costumes, makeup and the stunts.
It is fun to see Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Geoffrey Rush, Keira Knightley, producer Jerry Bruckheimer, director Gore Verbinski and a lot of others talk about the movie, in which you can see the fun they must have had and the work that is done. All these people have made a highly entertaining movie, exciting from start to finish.
