A 1950' classic in 2005 !!!
docteurN24 June 2006
This film takes it's sources back in the cinema and the history of the 50' and the 70's. In this Algerian civil war atmosphere, a desperate woman finds relief in taking part in the war : she'll deliver tracts in her factory. She will meet a man and a love story will start.

The director makes of this small adventure a history of two hole countries.

It's a film where Jean-Pierre Melville meets Sam Peckinpah, and where their views of humanity are transcended by Burger's directing.

It is a film which no one can make or see these days, and Burger did it, with wonderful actors and a true reflection about commitment (in war or love) and patriotism, belonging or not to a country, and which ?
