Continuity: When the main character enters the bathroom and rinses his face we see in the mirror that his watch is undone and hanging around his wrist. In the next shot, from a different angle, his watch is done up.
Continuity: When David is talking to his father, after being hit by a Frostie, the stain on his collar changes throughout their conversation.
Errors in geography: At 19:57 in the movie on the wind chill map, Sioux City should be Sioux Falls.
Continuity: The right rear-view mirror of Robert's jaguar is missing in one shot
Miscellaneous: If you freeze the scene immediately after Spritz deletes his book Breaking Point, you can see there is still a Word file on his desktop labeled Breaking Point, so he didn't actually completely delete it.
Continuity: When David pays one dollar for the coffee at Arby's, the charge is 80 cents, yet the cashier only gives him a dime back in change.
Revealing mistakes: The parade scene at the very end is supposed to be taking place in New York, but if you look at the firefighters' uniforms and the emblem on the firetruck, they are clearly from the Chicago Fire Department.
Continuity: When Dave puts the new tag on his license plate, the first set of three numbers is separated from the second set of three numbers. But a moment later, a front shot of his car shows all six numbers in a row with no separation.
Factual errors: When David is at Robert's house, we see Robert's Pulitzer Prize, a piece of carved engraved glass. Individual Prize winners actually receive a certificate.
