Warning: Spoilers
Is a very good movie with a strong acting of Mario Almada in a supporting role as Fortino, the good Mexican family guy who receives a homeless and desperate pair of Salavadorenians in his home, with his family, in order to help them to save money and go to the US. In the leading role is Jorge Hernández, leader of Los Tigres del Norte. Is a good story about immigration, but with the special touch of the guy from Salvador. That's why the movie is "Three Times Wetback", because he had to pass two countries before the US. The plot is believable and the characters could be any poor guy from real life. Besides, there's always the hope of success to the good and working men. Mario Almada is wonderful in his role.

I enjoyed this film; it's sad, but I enjoyed it. The thing is I found it way to real, and the situations are very common. Illegal immigration. When I saw that it starred Mario Almada and Los Tigres del Norte, I thought it would be light entertainment. It does have some light aspects to it, like a bar fight and some cheesy dialogues and situations, but overall I found the film sad. To many hardships and vicissitudes that are all too common. Some people might say, for instance, that the acting or the cinematography, or the direction or the character development and things like that suck... but for me,the story superseded those things. The ending is not optimistic, unfortunately. Watch it if you want, but don't expect a typical Almada Bros. movie.
