10.23 Brother's Keeper
Supernatural ends its tenth season by wrapping up the Mark of Cain narrative. As Dean succumbs more and more to the Mark's power, Sam gets increasingly desperate to track his brother down and set Rowena on performing the spell that will get rid of the First Curse. Dean gets desperate and calls on an old ally of the Winchesters in the form of Death, anticipating that it will be his own demise that will rid the world of the dangers of the Mark. Of course, this being Supernatural, nothing is ever that easy and Death reveals that losing the Mark will unleash the Darkness upon the world, the evil that came before Creation. As Rowena prepares to take on the spell, the brothers Winchester attempt to sort their own solution...

10.22 The Prisoner
Much has been made about family this season, from the positives, laid out in Dean’s speech to Crowley last week, to the negatives, which is pretty much any time a Winchester brother decides to think without the other. It seems fitting then that in The Prisoner, to go up against the Winchesters’ cobbled-together family is one of the oldest and most dangerous dynasties in the world, the Stynes. As Dean and Sam reel from Charlie’s death, the episode offers us more a glimpse into the privileged, powerful world of the Styne family and their love of playing Operation. Of course, they aren’t really a match for a vengeance-filled, Mark of Cained Dean.
The montage of Charlie’s best moments, including her Han and Leia exchange with Dean,...

10.21 Dark Dynasty
After the introduction of the Stein clan in Book Of The Damned, Dark Dynasty brings the family back again with a vendetta against the Winchesters and a mission to bring back the Book of the Damned. The Book is currently in the possession of the imprisoned Rowena, working with Sam to remove the Mark of Cain from Dean’s arm. In the meantime, the boys investigate the murder of a woman whose killer leapt out of a third storey window, recognising him as one of the black magic family. The Steins attempt to clean up behind themselves as the race gets underway in Rowena’s prison to figure out how to remove the Mark.

Last night’s Supernatural took a little break from Sam’s mission to rid Dean of the Mark of Cain, as the Winchesters and Cas helped Claire find her missing mother. However, judging from these photos, next week’s episode should put us right back in the main story of the season. In next Wednesday’s episode of Supernatural, “Dark Dynasty,” Charlie returns to assist Sam as he keeps searching for a way to remove the Mark from Dean, but in order to help Sam, Charlie will have to work with Rowena, as they sift through the Book of the Damned together. I can’t wait to see those two in the same room together. And speaking of Rowena, she won’t just get a visit from Charlie but also one from Castiel, who appears to be joining Charlie and the witch as they do their work. What exactly are...
