Gub Neal, the producer of Gunpowder, Treason and Plot, about the plot by a group of Catholic terrorists to blow up Britain's Parliament in 1605 during the reign of the Protestant King James I, has been writing a diary of sorts about the production for Britain's Guardian newspaper from Romania, where it is being filmed (and where it is behind schedule and over budget).
