Trivia:
Actors Peter Blok, Pierre Bokma and Gijs Scholten van Aschat and director Willem van de Sande Bakhuyzen are real life college friends. moreQuotes:
Pieter: I rather, to be honest, want to select something from the nil-depot. That is a cellar under the town-hall where all the more or less written of art is stored. Most is garbage. 800 square metres full of uglyness, that really is bad Tom. moreFAQ

If you don't mind films that look and feel like a theatre play, this could be a film for you. I'm still doubting. Sure, if you go with the theatrical flow, the acting is good. The writing is interesting. The photograper did his best to make it a film, but he seemed like the only one in the production. He gives the film a golden (almost Godfatherlike) look. Lightingwise very conventional, but it works. Shot on a very low budget for television, which makes it even more impressive. Same cameraman as Moonlight, which even looks better. But there he had more to play with, I guess. I would like to see more of him in the future and i'm sure I will.
