When Kathleen Kennedy first took the reins of Lucasfilm in 2012, one of her first orders of business was to prepare Star Wars scholar Dave Filoni for live-action storytelling. Filoni has long been the steward of Lucasfilm animation, as Star Wars mastermind George Lucas not only hired him, but also mentored him during their run together on the animated series The Clone Wars (2008). Kennedy’s live-action plan has certainly paid off, considering that Filoni is now an executive producer on a number of Disney+ live-action Star Wars series including The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, as well as the upcoming Ahsoka and Skeleton Crew. He’s also directed at least a half-dozen episodes across all the shows combined.
Before Kennedy paired Filoni with The Mandalorian creator Jon Favreau, she had him shadow Star Wars filmmakers on set including J.J. Abrams and Rian Johnson, the latter of whom Filoni singles out as especially helpful.

Behind-the-scenes details about Netflix‘s Physical 100 are coming to light as the contestants appear on each other’s Youtube channels. Fitness celebrity and bodybuilder Kim Kang-min appeared on Shim Ee-ddeum’s channel and gave an inside scoop on what happened during the Atlas challenge on Physical 100. Fans will be surprised to learn he did not sleep the night before.

After the boat quest, the teams delegated a team member to each of the Greek mythology-inspired challenges on Physical 100. Everyone dreaded the Atlas challenge, where four contestants had to hold an over 100lb boulder on their shoulders. The one to withstand the weight for the most time wins. Many of the contestants knew Strongman Jo Jin-hyeong would be the top competitor.

This Star Wars article contains spoilers for The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.
The wait has felt like an eternity, but The Mandalorian is finally back for its highly anticipated third season. After a three-year hiatus, bounty hunter Din Djarin and his little Yoda pal Grogu return to our TV screens for a whole new adventure that will see them explore new corners of the galaxy as well as visit a few old friends. The season picks up where The Book of Boba Fett left off and kicks off a (reportedly) year’s worth of storytelling in the “Mandoverse,” which will soon also include the spinoffs Ahsoka and Skeleton Crew.
Since three years is a long time between new seasons of a lore-heavy show like The Mandalorian, you may have quite a few questions heading into season 3. But we’ve got you covered with everything you need to...

21 Savage and Metro Boomin’s Savage Mode II spent a second week at Number One on the Rolling Stone Top 200 Albums chart. The album amassed 81.6 million streams and 1,400 downloads, just enough to beat out Pop Smoke’s posthumous release Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon, which racked up 85.7 million streams but less than 700 downloads.
As Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams” surged to Number Three on the Rs 100 thanks to a viral wave of interest that started on TikTok, the album which includes the track, 1977’s Rumours, climbed from Number 15 to Number Nine.

When you watch enough horror movies, it starts to become a bit of Six Degrees of Syfy Bacon. I watched, in order: Skeleton Man, Bone Eater, and Monster Wolf. Surely, I thought, if I closed my eyes and just picked a movie at random from my overstuffed Tivo list I would find a film that had nothing to do with white people getting in touch with their Native American spiritual side. I should have kept my eyes closed. Hybrid is obviously inspired by the shirtless spate of werewolves now common to the Twilight series. But unlike the Twilight series, or say, any other movie that involves...

If a Native American skeleton on a murderous rampage that rides a ghostly steed sounds familiar, it's because before there was Bone Eater for the Syfy channel there was...Skeleton Man for the Syfy channel. The similarities between Sharktopus/Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus and Skeleton Man/Bone Eater make it clear that Syfy throws a wide net ("Quick, give us a pitch on an Indian skeleton that rides a horse and kills people!") and lets the studios duke it out in the public forum. Sadly, Bone Eater is the winner. It's not that Bone Eater is good -- it's filled with American...

He-man: Hey, I heard about your new movie, Skeletor Man! Skeletor: Actually it's Skeleton Man. He-man: Oh, okay. What's it about? Skeletor: I play a Native American Indian named Cottonmouth Joe who rises from the dead and goes on a killing spree. He-man: Seriously? You're the whitest guy I know. Skeletor: That's funny, I was going to say the same thing about you. He-man: Cottonmouth Joe sounds like some bad country rap act. Skeletor: Well you wouldn't be laughing if you were Delta Force. I killed all those guys, including the stupid archeologist and the hot chicks...

Another Saturday, another long list of horror movies on TV. Have you recovered from Friday's list yet? Do you have enough time to watch them all? And this list is only a fraction of what's fully available out there!
As usual, only those of note (as decided by me) are listed below, and the list is by no means exhaustive.
In addition, are you caught up on Camera Obscura yet? We have the first seven episodes in one spot including a neat little recap to help refresh your memory should you have forgotten the story so far, what with Episode 7 being released yesterday.
And if you are on Netflix, make sure to browse through The Foywonder's crazily Massive List of New Netflix Instant Streaming Horror Titles.
Don't forget to come back and tell us in the comments section below what you thought of Saturday's horror on TV offerings. Did you like this list?...

Movies based on stories by Edgar Allan Poe are nothing new. Movies about the short life of the macabre writer are in shorter supply. One of Edgar Allan Poe's biggest fans is pushing to get a biopic about the famed writer into production. Because when you think Edgar Allan Poe you think... Sylvester Stallone?
Empire Online caught up with Sylvester Stallone to talk to him about his all-star action flick The Expendables opening next year, as well as the possible Death Wish remake he's considering starring in. One unexpected topic that came up was Stallone's passion to make a movie on the life and times on the writer of such classic horror tales and poems as "The Fall of the House of Usher", "The Tell-Tale Heart", "The Pit & the Pendulum", and "The Raven", just to name a few.
Stallone himself has no intention of saying "Yo, Poe!" Him starring...

We live in strange times. Sylvester Stallone wants to do another Rambo sequel. No surprise there. Now he's talking about making it PG-13, which is nearly impossible to fathom, especially after the all-out bloodbath that was last year's Rambo. But even more perplexing is that it looks to be heading into the direction of sci-fi action horror with John Rambo tracking a genetically engineered monster run amok. We're a long way removed from First Blood now.
Coming Soon scored the following synopsis for what is currently being titled Rambo V: The Savage Hunt, a Rambo sequel that would see the Vietnam vet recruited back into service to use his tracking skills to assist a Black Ops squad in pursuit of a marauding man-animal created by military scientists conducting genetic experiments involving human savagery.
"John Rambo could track anyone - or anything - on earth. Now the military desperately needs...

Yesterday’s announcement about casting for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse brought the news that Boo Boo Stewart was to be the film’s Seth Clearwater might have been a surprise to some, but apparently not to everyone. He issued this YouTube video back in June when casting was still on-going, thanking those who helped him promote himself for the role and recapping his hope to become a part of the film. Stewart is no novice to acting, either. Birth named Nils Allen Stewart, Jr., Boo Boo Stewart has played in a great number of films, including The Last Sentinel and The Fifth Commandment, and he has also appeared on televisions programs such as ER and Everybody Hates Chris. Not only can Stewart act, but he has also been featured in several films and programs for stunt work, including Beowulf and Skeleton Man...
