Banyan Prods., creators of the TLC hit Trading Spaces, received new episode orders for the spinoffs Trading Spaces: Boys vs. Girls and Ambush Makeover. Boys, a kiddie version of the home-improvement series that airs on Discovery Network's Saturday-morning block on NBC and the Discovery Kids Channel, has gone into production on 13 new episodes for its second season. After sticking to the Northeast last season, Boys will rove to such other cities as Atlanta and Richmond, Va., to shoot episodes. "The show brings the 'Trading' brand to the table and has done extremely well for itself on NBC," Banyan chairman Susan Cohen-Dickler said. Ambush, a makeover series launched on a select group of Fox owned-and-operated stations in June, got an additional 40-episode order.
