This short film by Zbig Rybczynski is very experimental in nature--like an art film that completely defies anyone from giving it a numerical rating. I didn't at all enjoy it, but I really don't think Rybczynski made the film to be enjoyed but it was more to try some new technique that isn't really intended to be cinematic.
"Nowa Ksiazka" consists of 9 screens arranged in a giant square (much like the opening to "The Brady Bunch" TV show). They all work in sequence and are like watching the monitor of a closed circuit television watching people on a particular street. Not a lot happens other than seeing people do their everyday things and move from one screen to another in many cases.
