Own the rights?
As interesting as the trailer seemed, nothing came close to filling my expectations. Acting was horrible, dialogue was horrible, editing was atrocious, scoring was outrageously overbearing and character attachment - pfffft, there was none.The tension was minimal but at its best when the storm hit and when a brief 3 way scuffle occurred.If the scenery in the trailer drew you to the movie, then you may be happy. That was the best part of the movie. Even a supposed twist melted away any chance for praise. Seriously, two of the lamest characters in the movie were catalysts in the twist....wow, umm, surprise?....ummm, noooo.I now rest my case that far too many movies are made on the cheap without any effort to clean up the mess on the cutting floor. Why? There is no mess on the cutting floor because no one took time to edit this poor piece of trash.I sound bitter? Yes! I give it 2 stars? Yes, for Kate and scenery.
