Storyline
A fairly comic look into the making of the creatures and battle scenes for the film Army of Darkness (1993). We look at various different skeletons created for the battle, the creation of the pit bitch and some hilarious behind the scenes stories and footage of Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell. Well worth looking at for any avid fan of the Evil Dead trilogy. Written by

This documentary's fast pace adds to the enjoyment of the exploits on the Army of Darkness set. I found yourself wishing that it was ten or fifteen minutes longer. After a couple of viewings, things feel rushed and the narration, by Bruce Campbell, is out of place. Watching the low tech genius makes me yearn for the days when I wondered how they did that instead of lamenting, "that looks fake." It's obvious that the skeleton's are manual, but it's still fascinating to watch all of the ways that they are used and controlled. Raimi and company put on a good show by working hard and have fun doing it. They come across as a giddy bunch of kids. This is a great companion piece to the feature, Army of Darkness.
