  • Continuity: A royal servant throws Prince Mario's gift into a sack. The same gift reappears back in the royal servant's hand immediately after, only to be re-thrown into the same sack - in the same manner as before.

  • Crew or equipment visible: A mat can be seen to cushion Jim Charoo's fall onto the railway track.

  • Continuity: As Princess Elizabeth ("Hollywood" version) admonishes US Churchill to shoot Hitler, the camera shot changes mid-sentence -- and shows the Princess' arms to be in a different position than before.

  • Continuity: Just after Lieutenant Baker and Captain Davies have been admitted into the Prime Minister's office, the doors get closed behind them. Next shot, the doors are ajar. Then, in the next shot, the doors are even more open while the camera zooms in.

  • Continuity: Thrice, we see Lieutenant Baker and Captain Davies in the PM's office; once towards the beginning of the film, once towards the end, and once just into the credits. In the first instance, there appears to be some sort of card propped upright as part of the decor on the mantelpiece, behind the PM, to the (viewer's) left. This card disappears partway through the second instance in the PM's office, and stays gone from there on in.

  • Audio/visual unsynchronized: The second time US Churchill and Denzil Eisenhower are dockside; as Eisenhower drives the jeep towards camera, what he mouths to US Churchill, and what comes through on audio - doesn't match initially - although as they near the camera, mid-sentence, the audio works its way back in synch.

  • Continuity: There are three consecutive shots of the scene where the Fuehrer crashes a car into a building. The first and third shots appear to be from the same take. The second shot, however, has the following anomalies: Martin Bormann ("Hollywood" version) and Lord W'Ruff appear closer to the car and more to the (viewer's) left of it; a luggage tag has moved; a white cuff can be seen from beneath Bormann's jacket sleeve; W'Ruff's scarf is draped differently.

  • Continuity: As Lieutenant Baker brushes aside the overgrowth from his father's tombstone, the close-up shot of his arm shows him as wearing a wristwatch. The very next shot of the same scene has panned out, and the watch is gone.

  • Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): In the train station waiting room scene, the waitress addresses the character Jim Charoo (played by Mackenzie Crook) as "Alfie Trellis".
