An entertaining, light and compelling view on mental illness
rtoac112 November 2023
This is a Malayalam language film starring Mohanlal and Ramya Krishnan in pivotal roles.

The film is a view into mental illness. However most of the film is kept light with loads of humour. There is also an element of romance and beautiful music and songs.

The film is about the protagonist Siddharthan who in an asylum due to mental illness. He is there partly due to guilt and failure in love. In walks a photographer - who is there to capture pictures and memories - but to whom Siddharthan gets infatuated.

How his mind grapples with the situation is the main crux of the film. It's a compelling watch with excellent performances. One of Mohanlal's most memorable, sensitive and excellent performances.
