  • Boom mic visible: The shadow can be seen in Isabel's mirror.

  • Revealing mistakes: When the Night Fox calls Danny Ocean the night before the theft is due to take place, the phone rings in the hotel room but has stopped ringing just before Danny picks it up.

  • Factual errors: Laser security systems need an emitter and a receiver for each beam. The system in the film has no receivers, and so would be useless for detecting movement.

  • Revealing mistakes: Makeup is visible on the inside of Linus's collar when he unlocks his own handcuffs.

  • Factual errors: The pillars in Amsterdam are driven into the sand to stabilize the foundations of the houses. There is no water surrounding the pillars at any level. The film suggests that the houses are built like offshore platforms which is simply not the case.

  • Crew or equipment visible: When Yen (the "Grease Man") is being arrested outside the art museum, the camera is reflected in the window of the opened passenger door.

  • Continuity: The newspapers on the table in the train change positions and layout between shots.

  • Continuity: When the convoy of black Range Rovers pulls out of the Rome Police facility, Isabel is following it in an unmarked Police car, a silver colored Lancia. But in all the earlier takes showing the Police facility courtyard, the only silver colored unmarked Police car on the scene is a 3 series BMW.

  • Factual errors: The real Faberge egg is supposed to be transported from Paris to Rome by train as LeMarc tells the team of Diaz. They are supposed to get on the train from Gare du Nord in Paris. This is a mistake as all trains from Gare du Nord are due north. Trains to Italy would leave from Gare de Lyon.

  • Miscellaneous: When Danny knocks on Rusty's hotel door after being woken up by the Nightfox's prank wake-up call, Rusty tells him the time is 11:30 the night before the heist. However, the sun is obviously coming through the windows in both Danny's hotel room and Rusty's as the two of them watch TV. At the end credit, in the thanks, the french word "préfecture" is misspelled ("préfècture de police de Paris")

  • Factual errors: Early in the film Danny is seen riding in Amtrak car 54525, presumably in Connecticut, but this type of train car is not used in Amtrak's Northeast Corridor service and is primarily seen in the Midwest.

  • Continuity: In the flashback scenes, the length of Isabel's hair is inconsistent

  • Crew or equipment visible: In the black and white "backpack" scene, the camera's shadow is visible on the backpack after the guy walks up the stairs. It is visible again right after it goes to color.

  • Revealing mistakes: The pillow offered by Linus as part of the disguise for Tess is a square model. Later when Tess removes the pillow it is clearly a round model.

  • Factual errors: After their arrest and subsequent "extradition," the thieves are seen being driven away from a "Polizia" Station. In actuality, they would have been arrested by the Carabinieri: a very separate and more militarized division of Italian law enforcement. In fact, one of the Carabinieri's specific jurisdictions is the investigation and recovery of stolen artwork.

  • Plot holes: Rusty and Molly Star (Mrs. Caldwell) would have no knowledge that Isabel forged the 1077 form.

  • Continuity: In the first scene that we see Rusty, he doesn't have the tattoo on his hand that was in the previous movie. In his following scenes, he does.

  • Factual errors: When Frank's "lawyer" meets him at the jail, he is wearing a ID that says "Legal Council" when, presumably, he is Frank's Legal Counsel.

  • Continuity: When Rusty goes to the café he takes off his jacket and sets it on the table. When the camera changes shots, the jacket is nowhere in sight.

  • Continuity: When Isabel talks to Rusty in his hotel room, she shows him a picture of him standing by a tree and eating an ice cream cone. The next time the picture in seen the ice cream cone is missing.

  • Errors in geography: The train where they steal the bag is from "Gare du Nord" in Paris to Rome. But the trains from Paris to the South are only from "Gare de Lyon".

  • Revealing mistakes: (At 60:30) As Ocean is talking to Nightfox at his home, before the two conspire to steal the Fabergé egg, you can see a small bug crawl from the top side of his left collar on down his shirt.

  • Continuity: As Danny is briefing his guys on the Night Fox's history, Yen asks a question in Mandarin. However, Yen is still supposed to be trapped inside a lost piece of luggage at the time, so he'd have no way of being there to ask the question.
