Nephi (among others) is clean-shaven in 6th-century B.C. Jerusalem. Jewish males of the time were forbidden to trim their beards, much less remove them.
The costumes - an odd hodge-podge of modern Middle Eastern and ancient Aztec apparently patterned after the highly fanciful paintings of Arnold Friberg, bear no resemblance whatsoever to Jewish attire of the day.

Lehi's family use Bactrian (two-humped) camels, which are native to the Gobi desert and the steppes of Central Asia. The camels should have been dromedary (one-humped) camels, often called Arabian camels.
