Asked if she ever feared losing stardom, Bipasha told Ians over phone from Mumbai: "I have never been a desperate person. I have been a lucky girl and I have always lived by my own rules and not the industry norms, because when I started off I was called a bohemian because of the way I was... “‘Abcd’ is impossible without Prabhudheva. So ‘Abcd 3’ will have Prabhudheva for sure. The first and second films were written keeping Prabhu in mind and same goes for the third series as well,” Remo said in a statement.
“Apart from Michael Jackson, the only man I look upto and admire his dancing skills is Prabhudheva. Earlier he had issues with language, but with the third instalment, his language has only got better,” he added.

India is well known as a spawning ground for remakes and ripoffs or popular films. However, what is less well known is their increasing tendency to officially license films for remake and the increasingly wide net they cast when hunting down the best material. Case in point: Rocky Handsome. Rocky Handsome is an upcoming film starring Bollywood beefcake John Abraham (Jism, Dhoom) as a hitman trying to rescue an adorable little girl from a gang of very bad men. If the scenario sounds familiar, it should, because Rocky Handsome is a remake of Won Bin starrer The Man From Nowhere. Tmfn was one of 2010's biggest surprises and is among the finest Korean revenge films of the last fifteen years, a feat not easily accomplished....

After the likes of Murder, Jism, Jannat and Raaz series, brothers Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt went on a massive reinvention mode by backing films as different as Citylights and Mr. X. With a break being put into their earlier money making franchises, they decided to experiment. Now, after more than a year of hiatus, they have green lighted another franchise - Khamoshiyan.

Mumbai, Feb 20: Alia Bhatt already seems to be getting experimental - after playing a fashion-conscious and arrogant young girl in her debut film "Student Of The Year" she will now be seen as a deglamourised character in "Highway". Pooja Bhatt's Jism 2 may quite literally have shocked the Indian audience with none other than Sunny Leone playing the lead role in the film. Now working on the third installment in the Jism franchise, Pooja has apparently roped in Maldivian crooner Unoosha, aka Kiddy, for the film's music.
Unoosha who is currently in the city recorded a track yesterday, August 27, at Tanay Studios. With this, Unoosha becomes the first individual from Maldives to be associated with Bollywood.
While the track in question will also feature Ali Azmat and K.K. with lyrics about making new beginnings, the song titled 'Kahaan Se Karen Shuru, Yahaan Se' and is composed by Arko Pravo Mukherjee.

The slow and steady always win the race. A phrase oh so apt for our interviewee today. John Abraham has slowly but surely made a niche for himself not only in the industry but also in the hearts of the audiences. He found a new side to him last year when he debuted as a producer for one of the most successful films of the year, Vicky Donor. This year he returns again with the producer tag but also features in the film. Madras Cafe is all set to hit the screens this Friday the 23rd but before that the producer/actor talks to us a bit about the film and all that went into making it.
Madras Cafe is your second movie as a producer. How has the journey as a producer been thus far?
My first offbeat comedy Vicky Donor got a good national and international success. Post this,...

The controversial political thriller film Madras Cafe has caused its first stir amongst the international population, with stories emerging that the prominent Sri Lankan Tamil community in Canada are planning to boycott the film because of the sensitive material depicted. Recent reports also say that the film will be banned in the South Indian city of Chennai in Tamil Nadu which has a large Tamil population.
Madras Café is set against the backdrop of the tumultuous and much-publicised Sri Lankan civil war of the 1980s. The subject matter in the film touches upon the inflammatory issues regarding the various factions involved in the drawn-out bloody and brutal conflict, including India’s involvement. An avalanche of movies is arriving on screens this weekend, what with as many as four notable releases in the anvil. Primarily word of mouth films, one expects a better start in the multiplexes for Bajatey Raho whereas Nasha should open better in the single screens. As for Issaq, it does look like an interesting film and good reviews coupled with quick word of mouth from audience could give it a chance at the box office. Between these three films, Bajatey Raho has been the most visible of the lot and since it is backed by a premium production house (Eros’ Raanjhanaa is still running in theaters), the release would be widespread as well. A comedy, it could well be a Chalo Dilli moment for director Shashant Shah since the Vinay Pathak-Lara Dutta starrer too had released amidst as many as six films and still emerged victorious. Issaq...

Mumbai, March 14: Model-turned-actress Bipasha Basu, who has come a long way in the industry, says she has always picked up unconventional roles.
Be it playing a character with grey shades in her first film "Ajnabee", to playing a sensuous character in "Jism" to her forthcoming horror thriller "Aatma", the actress has defied conventions.
"When I started my career, I was 18 years old and I was bored with modelling. I took my first film due to this reason only. I got a lot of criticism for that," said Bipasha, who has done about fifty movies in over a decade.
"Many of them said that I am too unconventional, but I never.
