The set was almost partially blown away on the 2nd day of filming by a tornado. The crew then agreed to work for an extra day for free to make up for lost filming time.
Writer/director Trenton McDevitt rewrote the end of the film in an evening to accommodate the weather and partially destroyed set.
Filming took place directly under an airport flight path. As a result, takes were no more than two minutes in length or were shot without sound (MOS - Minus Optical System/Minus Optical Sound).
Key elements of the remaining set were destroyed two months later by a hurricane.
