Kelly Clarkson has been a hot topic of conversation after she shed several pounds after moving her talk show from the West Coast to the East Coast.
The former American Idol winner looked significantly different as she began to debut a more petite frame and upped the ante on her wardrobe.
There was speculation about how Kelly lost the weight, with many suspecting it was with the help of the popular weight loss drug Ozempic.
However, it wasn’t Ozempic that helped in her journey. It was something similar, but Kelly didn’t name the product she was using.
While speaking to Whoopi Goldberg during a recent episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, the former The Voice coach confirmed she used something to help with the weight loss, something Whoopi could relate to.

Kelly Clarkson has been opening up about her weight-loss journey, revealing she had to use a weight-loss drug because her “blood work got so bad.” The American Idol winner touched on the subject while interviewing Whoopi Goldberg on Monday’s (May 13) episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, after she complimented the The View host on her appearance, noting that she looks “younger.” “That’s because of all the weight I’ve lost,” Goldberg said, quipping, “I lost almost two people.” When Goldberg mentioned using the Type II diabetes drug Mounjaro to lose weight, Clarkson admitted she has also used a weight-loss medication. “Mine is a different one than people assume, but I ended up having to do that, too, because my blood work got so bad,” the former Voice coach said. Matt Winkelmeyer/Getty Images for The Recording Academy The medication most people assume is Ozempic, which has become the go-to weight-loss medication for celebrities.

Scotty McCreery knows that he shows up carrying a lot of baggage. He’s the American Idol kid, the preternaturally youthful, aw-shucks redhead who, at 17, won the reality singing competition back when it still mattered, and dropped the inoffensive debut single “I Love You This Big.” That reputation, polished and squeaky clean, tells some cynical country fans all they need to know about the type of music he makes. Surely, Scotty McCreery can’t do hard country.

It’s official: The Conners will be getting a proper goodbye. The Roseanne follow-up has been renewed for seventh and final season. As Deadline reported exclusively last week, the order is believed to be for six episodes, with the main cast, including John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Sara Gilbert and Lecy Goranson, expected to return. The renewal took longer to finalize because dates for the cast, particularly Goodman, had to be worked out, I hear.
Along with the official renewal, ABC has released the first “farewell season” promo, which leans into The Conners‘ history that spans two shows. With The Conners recently airing its 100th episode, Roseanne becomes a rare comedy franchise to produce two series that have hit that milestone.
“You’ve been part of this family for years,” the promo says, mixing footage from The Conners with a couple of shots from Roseanne. “After 6 seasons, be there to say goodbye.

After two seasons, ABC has canceled the Gina Rodriguez-led and executive-produced comedy series Not Dead Yet.
Written by Casey Johnson and David Windsor, Not Dead Yet centers on newly single and feeling-old Nell Serrano (Rodriguez), a self-described disaster who works to restart the life and career she left behind 10 years ago. “Initially I did say no,” admits Golden Globe nominated actress Chrissy Metz while discussing her participation as Poodle Moth on the Fox reality TV series “The Masked Singer.” “I didn’t think I could do it. I was like, ‘I don’t know if I’m the girl for the job.’ Also, I run hot, especially in my face. How am I going to have a mask on and sing in the way that I’m supposed to sound good? It took some convincing. Ultimately, I realized it was really fun, challenging and liberating.” Watch her exclusive video interview with Gold Derby senior editor Denton Davidson above.
Metz was unmasked as Poodle Moth on Wednesday night’s quarter-finals episode of Season 11. She went home in fourth place as Clock, Goldfish and Gumball advanced to next week’s semi-finals. Panelist Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg was the only one who guessed her identity.
