A music show from Down Under?
schtaad15 July 2005
I remember while living in Japan on the Navy base,we would get reject television shows from the States as well as from other countries like Australia. Our Armed Forces Television Network would receive such canceled winners as "Remington Steele", "Double Trouble", and "MV3" as well as this gem.

The "Serendipity Singers Show" was a musical review show with two guys and two girls running around Sydney and doing their versions of contemporary hits such as Dolly Parton's "Nine to Five." It was almost like watching home movies.

Not Good. One step from horrid and forever burned into my brain.

Classic 80's Show
tiberfred7 June 2006
The Serendipity Singers Show is SO totally classic 80's. It's kind of a cross between Solid Gold and Hee Haw. There's singing of 80's songs by members of the traveling group mixed with the occasional corny skit. Having been done in the '80s, it has all those cheesy video effects and camera tricks of the day.

What makes it so great is that it was done completely seriously at the time, but now has that cheese factor that makes it incredibly, hilariously funny.

You have not lived until you've seen the "Eye Of The Tiger" video as performed by the Serendipity Singers.
